Illustrated History Walks
Dates for 2024 will be published soon All walks start and finish at the Heritage Centre and the ticket includes refreshments on return. The walks are at a gentle pace and we stop along the way at regular intervals to share photographs of what the town was like at different points in history. The walks happen on a Friday evening and are then repeated on a Sunday morning.
NEW - We want to make sure that everyone can access the history of the town and some people have said that although they would love to come on a walk, they are worried about keeping up or about being too slow for the group . In light of this we are now offering 'seated walks'! Book a place and then come along to the Heritage Centre where the same information and images from each walk will be shared - along with a cuppa - all in the comfort of a chair! Just £5 per person
FULLY BOOKED In conjunction with the Aylsham Food Festival, we are please to once again host our fantastic evening of wine tasting with commentary by Harper Wells of Norwich - very relaxed and unpretentious with not a spittoon in sight!! Everyone welcome from wine connoisseurs to those who know nothing except that they like wine! £22 per person which includes 6 wines to taste and nibbles too. 7pm Saturday October 7th Friendship Hall - Cawston Road
