Aylsham/Blickling Walk
UNFORTUNATELY THIS WALK HAS BEEN CANCELLED
We are very pleased to be able to offer our Friendly invasion guided walk again this year.
This walk starts at Blickling Hall and covers the use of the Hall and the grounds by servicemen and women and the nissen huts that were occupied by forces personnel.
A vintage bus will then take you from Blickling to Aylsham where refreshments await you in the Heritage Centre.
The second leg of the history walk is around Aylsham town and uses stories and archive photographs to discover more about life in the town for visiting servicemen and women and the impact that this had on the residents of the town.
The bus will then return you to Blickling, via a drive past Oulton airfield.
Opportunity to visit the RAF museum on your return.
Starts at Blickling at 10 am and ends at Blickling around 1.30
Parking and refreshments included in the price
£19 per person.
We are unable to welcome dogs on this walk.
Some of the walk is on narrow and uneven paths, please let us know of any mobility issues so that we can advise on suitability.
